Artroom

This space allows children to be creatively expressive through a vast range of artistic media and 'messy play' activities. Painting, modroc, stencilling, collage, junk modelling, ink and marbling, chalk and clay, glass painting, finger and foot painting. Sessions here feed into the termly planning for a cross curricular creative approach to the delivery of the national curriculum.

Playroom

This large and carpeted space is multi purpose providing children and adults with a range of play based learning opportunities. Role play with dressing up, drama and dance classes are held here. Music, rhythm and rhyme sessions as well as a well stocked selection of puzzles, games, toys, instruments and writing equipment. Structured, adult lead sessions on literacy and numeracy take place at the tables. An interactive whiteboard is an invaluable tool for teaching and learning and the children have access to a computer and are encouraged to develop necessary IT skills.

Playroom

The home corner is a well used space and often dictates the free play sessions in the playroom. With lots of natural light, carpeted flooring and soft bean bags making it a versatile and comfortable playroom. It is a large enough room that in foul weather the children can move freely and safely without the frustrations of being 'cooped up' building.
